Hello,
I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you
to the Cedarburg Education Foundation for the
wonderful grant you gave the elementary PE
teachers in Cedarburg to purchase DDR
equipment for our classrooms.
Second quarter recently ended, and as I was
writing some report card comments, I had a
really good chance to observe my student's
progress on their steps through a written log
they kept. It was encouraging to see that almost
all of my students made significant increases in
the number of steps they completed during our
DDR unit. I think they were highly motivated by it
as well when they got to record a new score
each day!
Thank you for all that you have done to help
improve and enhance the education of students
in Cedarburg School District. Thank you for
helping out the elementary PE program in the
district, and I just would also like to say that the
Gala event was a wonderful event!
Again, your organization has created such a
positive emphasis on education and has
generated funds that will create some great
programs for students. Thanks for all of your
hard word and time put into this positive
endeavor!

Dear Cedarburg Education Foundation
Members,
I am writing to express our gratitude on behalf
of the entire Cedarburg High School Science
Department for your generous support towards
the purchase of a MultiGene Thermal Cycler.
We are excited to have our students gain more
experience in the areas of biotechnology and
genetics through the use of this piece of
equipment.
We are thankful to have received this grant and
look forward to giving you updates as we
incorporate the Thermal Cycler into the biology
classes. Thank you for supporting science
education in our area - we will put these
materials to good use.
Thank you,

Dear Mr. Goldbeck:
What exciting news that the CEF will be
funding a grant for the High School IMC. The
Gale Virtual Reference Library of electronic
books will be an excellent resource for
students. The benefit of this reference library
is that multiple students may use a specific
resource at the same time.
The business office has been contacted and
the order for the reference library is being
processed. Working with Gale Learning, we
are together taking needed steps to create
access to these electronic resources.
I look forward to the start of the school year
when I can share with students and staff the
wealth of resources that will be available
through the Gale Virtual Reference Library.
Thank you for your support of education in the
Cedarburg Schools.
Sincerely,
Deanna L. Barth

Dear Cedarburg Education Foundation,
Thank you so much for approving my recent
grant application to bring River Edge into
partnership with Westlawn School! As you
may know, we have recently begun to work
cooperatively with Faith Lutheran Church and
the City of Cedarburg to restore the Westlawn
Woods to a more native state. At the same
time, adding learning stations and walking
paths. So, the timing of the grant is perfect!
Thank you, again, for supporting educational
endeavors at Westlawn and throughout the
school district.
